This Zero Point BBQ Chicken is a perfect meal for an upcoming get-together.

For this BBQ chicken, I use a combination of sugar-free BBQ sauce, brown sugar substitute, and a bit of Worcestershire sauce.

In your crockpot bowl, place chicken breasts seasoned with salt.

Mix barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar substitute. Whisk together until well combined in a small mixing bowl.

Dip the chicken breasts in the sauce in the slow cooker, then close the lid.

For at least 4-6 hours, cook over low heat.

To allow the chicken to absorb the remaining sauce – remove the lid with two sliced chicken forks.

Cook on low for another 20 minutes.

Serve on top of a low point hamburger bun, mini Hawaiian rolls, or on a bed of lettuce.

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and place seasoned chicken breasts in your crockpot.
  2. In a small mixing bowl combine BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar substitute. Whisk together until well combined.
  3. Pour sauce over chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Close lid.
  4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours on low.
  5. Remove lid, using 2 forks shred chicken-to allow the chicken to absorb the remaining sauce. Cook on low for another 20 minutes.
  6. Turn the slow cooker off and let the shredded chicken sit in the sauce for 20-30 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken before serving.
  7. Serve on top of a low point hamburger bun, mini Hawaiian rolls or on top of a bed of lettuce.
